Meet your photographer

Hi! I'm Emmy!

I’m a Lincoln photographer who loves soft light, real laughter, and photos that feel like you on your best day. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me hunting for a new recipe, hiking with my husband and hunting for a new coffee spot. We recently moved to Nebraska, and have been loving exploring the area. I was a 2026 bride and the bride in the photo here, is me! If you can't tell, I'm still swooning over them and I don't want a professional photo to cover the beauty my wedding photographer masterfully crafted! We're still obsessed with them :)

My husband and I were just married this year, so the struggle to plan a wedding still feels so close to my heart, intentionally fretting over details, and then watching the whole beautiful day fly by. I remember how in awe I was of my own wedding photos and adored my wedding photographer. She did such an incredible job and inspired me so much. I want the clients I photograph to truly feel like those images capture them, their joy and their unfiltered selfs.

That’s why I focus on making things easy for my clients: a clear timeline, a calm presence, and a client guide that answers questions before you ask them.

I love celebrating weddings, couples, and families, and I’d be honored to photograph yours.

You might be an Emmy Faye client if...

  • You value elegance over the new and trendy
  • You're down-to-earth, little bit goofy and love a classic heirloom photo that your kids and grandkids will cherish.
  • You want a photographer who's professional yet approachable

What to expect:

Before your wedding or session, we'll talk through the timeline, discuss any nerves, and I'll share exactly what to expect.

For brides, on your wedding day, I'll guide you gently, celebrate with you genuinely, and make sure you feel confident and cared for. You won't feel like you're only being photographed, you'll feel like you're being seen.

Favorite Person?

My Man!

My husband, Jared! One August evening, my roommate and I were coming home from a wedding and stopped by our local Chick-Fil-A. I locked eyes with a cute director and 4 months later he asked me out! We got married in July & have been friends since college!

What is Most Important to Me?

My faith & time with the Lord

My faith shapes how I see people, as fearfully and wonderfully made. When I'm behind the camera, I'm looking for God's fingerprints: the beauty in the location and in you, the joy that spills over when you laugh, and the quiet sacred moments

THE HEART BEHIND THE LENS

Photography taught me something profound: every frame is a prayer of gratitude. When I'm behind the camera, I see God's fingerprints everywhere.

Like Tolkien says,  "We all long for Eden and are constantly glimpsing it: our whole nature is soaked with the sense of exile."

My faith isn't separate from my work; it is my work. I believe you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and my greatest honor is capturing glimpses of how beautifully God designed you. Your love story, your family, your milestones, they're all part of a bigger story He's writing.

There's something sacred about preserving moments. When I hand you your gallery, I'm not just giving you photos; I'm giving you tangible reminders of God's goodness in your life. Years from now, when you flip through these images, I pray you'll remember not just what happened, but how loved you felt in that moment.

This is more than photography to me, it's ministry. It's celebrating the masterpiece He created when He made you, and witnessing His love story unfold through yours.

If you're here reading this, know that you are seen, you are loved, and your story matters deeply. I'd be honored to help you tell it.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above." - James 1:17

"Emmy was so amazing! We are such awkward photo takers and she made us feel so comfortable and confident. The way she was able to capture the emotions of the day and the beauty of the venue was truly amazing. I would recommend her to anyone!"
